This year, for the first time since COVID-19, CUPE Ontario members across the province will take part in events and marches celebrating Pride and the spirit of resistance.
In solidarity with the 2SLGBTQI+ community, and with our leaders, activists and members who identify as queer and trans, CUPE Ontario will be at many of these events, looking back at the struggles we’ve overcome, and building power to resist discrimination, harassment, and bullying in our workplaces, schools, and communities and fight for things like full access to Gender Affirming Care across Ontario.
In particular, CUPE Ontario is thrilled to be part of the Toronto Pride 2022, the weekend of June 24-26! We’ll be taking part in the Trans Rally and March, the Dyke Rally and March and the Parade on Sunday.
All the details are below, we hope you can join us! You can email us at info@cupe.on.ca to RSVP or with any questions.
